Nathan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2013 while attending East Central University on a baseball scholarship. There he received the 2012 Athletic Trainer of the Year Award before moving on to complete an Athletic Training internship with the Indianapolis Colts professional football team. In 2013 Nathan began his studies at the University of Southern California in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

While working on his degree Nathan gained certification through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in order to further his knowledge of high level return to sport progressions. Additionally, while in school he worked for the University of Southern California as an Athletic Trainer in the Club Sports Department where he managed athletes from 56 club sports teams. During his time at the University of Southern California Nathan trained under leading researchers in shoulder pathology and overhead athletes, participated in clinical research for Major League Baseball and worked with professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, XFL, NHL, and WTA. Following completion of his doctorate degree Nathan pursued the Orthopedic Residency Program at the University of Southern California graduating in 2017.

Nathan has attended continuing education courses for; myofascial release and ART, ACL injury prevention, evaluation and treatment of golf injuries, evaluation and treatment of football injuries, lower extremity sport specific functional assessments and readiness to play, dynamic trunk and pelvic control in running athletes, current concepts and controversies in rehabilitation of the throwing athlete, integration of the kinetic chain in the throwing athlete, elbow pitching mechanics and UCL risk factors in adult and youth pitchers, recovery considerations in athletic injury, recurrent and chronic low back pain, non-arthritic hip pain, wrist and hand disorders, respiratory influences on core stability, effect of exercise on tendinopathy and the diagnosis and management of rotator cuff disease.

Nathan strives to provide personalized treatment programs with an understanding that each patient is unique and their rehabilitation programs should be as well. His drive and determination to provide the highest quality of care possible push him to stay current with evidence-based medicine and cutting edge treatment techniques. He believes that the foundation of any successful physical therapy program lies open communication between patient and therapist and consistent reflection/re-evaluation of the plan of care. Nathan and his wife are natives of Orange County, CA and enjoy spending time hiking and exercising outdoors. Vincent graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Natural Sciences with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from the University of Southern California.

Since graduating Vincent has been fully involved in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine rehab, working alongside individuals of all levels. He has a passion for helping others return to a higher level of function than they were pre-injury and thoroughly enjoys developing relationships with his patients. He comes to Mankind PT having played all sports, with a passion for baseball. His treatment emphasis is on biomechanics assessment followed with various manual therapy techniques and functional exercise.

Vincent personally enjoys hiking, being outdoors, traveling, watching the Dodgers and Lakers, eating peanut butter desserts, and watching a variety of movies/TV shows. He loves to be with his wife, Rachel who is also a physical therapist, and his Australian Shepherd, Cooper. They have just welcomed a baby boy named Carter to the family in 2022 as well!

Dr. Jason Manalili is a Co-Founder and Doctor of Physical Therapy with Mankind Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Jason received his BA in Kinesiology and Psychology at Whittier College followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University of Southern California.

In his professional career, he has extensive experience in the high school, collegiate and professional settings working with athletes across multiple realms including The NFL, MLB, Bellator, Martial Arts, Dance, Ballet, Volleyball, Skateboarding, Rowing, and Surfing. After completing Southern California’s longest continually running orthopedic physical therapy seminar series, he led and maintained his role as the Director of Rehabilitation at Beach Cities Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Manhattan Beach and Torrance, California specializing in the overhead athlete, shoulder, elbow, knee, spine, and post-surgical management of the aforementioned regions.

Jason was a four-year football letterman at the high school and collegiate levels. He played at Corona Centennial where he was an outside linebacker for the Division 1 State Championship team in 2008. While at USC, Jason was President of the Multicultural Leadership Alliance helping raise money to fund PT mission trips abroad as well as an annual minority scholarship award for incoming Doctor of Physical Therapy students. Jason also has a strong passion for traveling and providing physical therapy services in underrepresented countries such as the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Mexico.

Monique received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy from Arizona State University in 2014. She went on to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Degree from Loma Linda University in 2015 where she graduated top of her class and received a Clinical Excellence Award during her clinical rounds at Hoag Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.

Coming from an athletic background of figure skating, volleyball and softball, Monique’s experiences have led her to a career in physical therapy and a passion for human movement. In her professional career she has had experience with a variety of patient populations ranging from youth and professional athletes, to weekend warriors and Olympic athletes. She has been specially trained in treating rotational athletes such as baseball players, surfers and golfers. With a strong manual therapy background, Monique integrates dynamic neuromuscular stabilization exercises with hands-on techniques to restore patient’s optimal movement patterns. She believes in a holistic approach treating the body as a whole. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy and therapeutic exercise while integrating mind-body balance to help improve overall health not only of the physical body but the mind too.

Monique values lifelong learning and professional development. She is a certified Reiki Master which helps deepen her understanding of the mind-body connection. She has an overall passion for health and wellness. Monique and her husband have just welcomed a baby girl into their family, Naomi!
